The James B. Duke Memorial Library is exploring the possibility of a “Makerspace” and would like your feedback! A makerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, hackerspace, or fablab) is a community-operated workspace where people with common creative interests, often in computers, technology, science, art or electronic art, crafts, and sewing, can meet, socialize, and collaborate.

We hope to offer cross-disciplinary experiences that support the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), #thisisresearch. We feel the library connects the JCSU community to expertise, information and resources to facilitate programs that foster innovation and life-long learning and we need your input.  Thank you.
