Collection Development

The James B. Duke Memorial Library works to ensure that our resources and collections are up-to-date. We strive to ensure that the materials we carry are beneficial for all our students within their many and varied programs.

The library staff works with departments in order to determine what books and other resources are needed in order to make sure our students can utilize the library for all of their academic needs. Below is where one can request that a specific book be added to the library collection.

Each librarian is responsible for a specific academic department. If you are unsure of your liaison then please see the list below. Please contact your liaison with any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have.
