As a celebration of Black History Month, the James B. Duke Memorial Library will be highlighting influential black leaders that have impacted the world. This week we will focus on Carla Hayden, the 14th Librarian of Congress. Hayden was the first African-American and the first woman to head the Library of Congress.
JCSU's very own Dr. Chantell McDowell attended the 1st International Academic Makerspace Symposium (ISAM) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from November 13-16, 2016. The ISAM joined people, knowledge, and inspiration in an attempt to catalyze growth for higher education makerspaces.
